Understand the exposure
An ETF may track an index, basket, commodity, bond market or strategy. A derivative linked to an ETF is not ownership of the fund.
Look beyond the label
Show the underlying benchmark, currency, exchange, concentration, leverage or inverse design where relevant, and product-specific risk.
Costs and sessions
Publish spread, commission, financing, market hours and any corporate-action treatment.
Common questions
Are all ETF instruments diversified?: No. Some are concentrated, leveraged, inverse or exposed to complex strategies.
Do I own the ETF?: Only if the legal product is a real investment product. Derivative exposure must be labelled.
